Viterra Early Talent Programs
Make the most out of your summer by applying for an agriculture-based internship at Viterra.
From business and social events to on-the-job training, we equip our interns with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the commodity management industry.
As a summer intern, you jump right in as part of the Viterra team. Our structured, paid internship provides personalized projects and experiences, such as:
- Lessons with Leaders: weekly executive interactions with our Senior Leaders to learn about their journey and insight into management
- Professional development opportunities: complete our soft skills classes to expand your business communication, relational, delegation and technical skills.
- Ag industry exposure: take on real-world responsibilities as you work right alongside Viterra teams
You will also tour our different facilities, participate in our national service project competition and travel to our US headquarters for our summer end celebration and final presentation event!
Our 12-week paid summer internship program is highly competitive, educational and rewarding and includes positions across the entire company.

Hit the ground running after college with our grain merchandising or operations trainee program!
Our trainee program is a guided, individualized approach to learning each part of Viterra’s business. You’ll enter a full-time, entry level, salaried position in merchandising or operations to help you prepare for a future leadership role.
During our two-year program, you’ll gain:
- Valuable insight and training as you work alongside Viterra leaders, peers and mentors
- Opportunities to travel and assist at Viterra locations throughout the US
- Cross-functional experience across multiple commodities and teams
- A fast-track career path set to lead you into a management or leadership position
